Hmmm? I love the topic of the "paranormal"!!! WOW! I have had 1 VERIFIED experience on (of all places) a Greyhound Bus several years ago out of Columbia S.C. I was enroute from Key West FL to Charlston WV. To make a long story short ........ a guy went into the toilet room at the back of the bus BUT he never came out. I had moved to the back seat (during a rest stop) so I could hog it all to myself! A tall. young, very sad looking guy, (23ish) went into the restroom, and never came out! The "clincher" was that the driver did the ONLY HEAD COUNT on the whole bus ride and when I pointed to the restroom he just smiled ? At the next stop I asked if it was possible that someone got out from within the bathroom and they said NO WAY!!! I have to say ..........it scared the piss out of me But, it was cool! THIS IS A TRUE STORY......NO BULL! There's more to the story and I'll relay it later!

sounds like the bus driver "knew" something, doesn't it?
I had just moved into an aparment many years ago, and the very first night I was there, something bizarre happened.
My son was in bed asleep, and I was laying in bed reading. Just at the exact moment I turned off my lamp, with my hand still on the switch, I saw something in the doorway.
It was the figure of a woman, but I could see through her. I could see her clearly, she had short curly hair, was wearing round eyeglasses, had on a shirtdress like old women wear, and support shoes.
She stood there for a moment, wringing her hands, then walked to the end of my dresser, seemed to fiddle with things on the end, wrung her hands again, then just disappeared.
The whole time I was frozen, couldn't move at all, couldn't believe what I was seeing. Soon as she disappeared, I jumped out of bed and turned on every light in the apartment! LOL!
I found out later that an old woman fitting that description had lived in that apartment, had a stroke, been taken to a nursing home, and had died that night.
If that isn't creepy, what is?

WOW.......it sounds like we've both seen dead people! Yes, it's creepy but kinda neat also! I had a few "experiences" as a child (7 or 8 )! Is that your first and only or have you had other paranormal experiences?

I've had other experiences as well, but nothing as dramatic as that one. That one was enough!

that's funny! Sounds like your a bit "senstive" also? That's cool! Personally I find it all quite comforting to know of the existence of something more on a different level.

Hmmm? You'll be there soon enough? You mean like in years or are you ill? None of my business I know I don't mean to pry.

Ha Ha Ha Glad to hear that! Good Attitude! Life does seem to go by rather quickly "unless" you can learn to slow things down a bit HEY I noticed you had a section for UFO'S also? Do you watch Scifi channel? A movie called "Silent Warnings" is on at 9:00 P.M. IF your wanting a break from the POLITICAL SCENE. Just passing it along at anyrate. Later, gator!

well, dang, I missed it, didn't get back on til just now. Yes, I do watch the sci-fi channel, and my fave show is Stargate. I really like how they don't sugar coat how screwed up our government is! And O'Neill is a blast, he cracks me up!
I'm waiting to see if they screw the show up, kinda worried they're going to phase out my favorite characters. I just cannot imagine Stargate without the original SG-1 crew.
I'll see if I can catch that show a little later, they do tend to repeat some shows later on in the evening. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry ya got the message to late Your right though, they do a lot of repeats which is cool! I have also acquired a taste for Stargate-SG1 I love the "ensemble" acting and YES "Oneil" cracks me up!!! I guess a new series is starting soon (Stargate-Atlantis) and I also HOPE they don't phaze out the original cast members! Who knows, maybe there are DVD'S in the near future for SG-1! Here's hoping! I hated what FOX did with X-Files towards the end of that series!!! ERRRR!!!! LOL! Again, GOOD LUCK ON THIS BOARD Navybrat! BTW I love getting in on the "ground floor" of NEW BOARDS SO......I'll be posting info more and more (on all your topics)!!! Thanks...........Andrew

Stargate is my favorite program, so I'll be upset if they change it too much.
And I look forward to your posts, I need to get more people posting. I seem to get a decent amount of traffic, but just a handful of posters. So any help you can give me will be deeply appreciated!

No problemo! I'm still glancing thru all your topics and reading the subject matter. After that I'll post some thoughts .....no doubt! I have to say it's cool that you have "unusual" topics like the one I'm in now. Have a good day

OK Guys, I have a good one here. This happened to my husband before we were married and he was living in a dumpy apartment in Lakeland, Florida.
He and a friend moved into this apartment and they had to paint some of the walls because there were pentagrams all over the place. Bad sign. After a few weeks, a dark, hooded figure appeared at the foot of my husbands bed. It said, "What do you want?" He thought it was a dream and went back to sleep. That morning his roommate was packing up, saying he was getting the heck out of there...evidently he had seen the same thing. Whoever had lived there before must have summoned something you think?
